Put one foot infront of the other

Where have I been for the last few months. Those who know me already know what a horrible few months its been for me and my family. After suddenly losing my Mom on January 27th I just wasn't sure how I was going to go forward. Then on February 26th I nearly lost my thumb in the dogs collar. I grabbed, he turned, my thumb tore. My fault. So here we are in April and I'm still dealing with aftermath. Lots of stitches inside and out, physical therapy and an MRI this Friday. Hopefully in a few more weeks I'll be able to go back to work (no pay check stinks!) and more importantly, stamp. I need some "normal" in my life. The good news is I have some great friends who have been so supportive and a husband who is a saint. Maybe I'll do a much deserved tribute to my Mom for a Mother's Day post. It's already turning into a kleenex moment and I care not to go there today. The good news is I can use my Cuttlebug now. It's amazing what two fingers can do given no other choice. And believe it or not I made those little tissue paper flowers on this card. It took several hours but, I did it. So today and tomorrow and the next I'll put one foot in front of the other until life feels normal again. Thanks for looking today.

What a blessing to see you back here today! I'm so sorry to hear of all that you've been dealing with, but so proud of you for continuing to put one foot in front of the other and keep on keepin' on! I'm not sure I could use my CB with only two fingers! Blessings, my friend, and thank you for sharing this gorgeous creation with us! Hugs...

Oh wow! You are going through so much. So sorry to read the news. I am wishing you a speedy recovery.

I was just thinking of you last week. We drove through via I5.

Anyhow, praying for you Kemi.

Very pretty card, and so glad to see you are stamping again, I have missed you. Been praying that your thumb will be as good as new. It's good to hear that my son is a saint. He's always been a blessing to me. Love you, Your mother-in-law.

Blessings to you, friend! So sorry for your loss - we lost my mom two years ago in January. Just keep With the "putting one foot in front of the other"; it does get better. Hope your thumb heals 100%! Glad to see your beautiful card. I had been wondering about you. {{{Girlfriend hugs}}}
