No cards to share today, but something even more exciting.I had the pleasure of watching the Blue Angels practice last week in preparation for the air show this past weekend. While we were unable to attend because I had to work all weekend (and it was WAY too hot to be at the airport all day) we were still able to enjoy parts of the show. Here's the COOLEST thing about this photo. My husband took this picture with his nothing fancy digital camera from our backyard yesterday! I wasn't home to see it, but my boys were so excited to tell me just how close this jet was to our house and that the vapor trail filled the backyard and 2 seconds later they could feel the wave from the sheer power these machines possess! I'm really bummed I missed it. There were times during their practice sessions they were so close I could see the pilot. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
Anyway, I just thought this was super duper cool and I wanted to share it with you guys! Hopefully I'll have some cards to share later this week. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!

Way cool!!! DS is an Air Force Academy Grad, and it used to be so exciting seeing these guys do flyovers at football games, graduation, etc. What a great photo!
Great pic! We've had the good fortune of seeing the blue angels a few times. Truly amazing. Glad the boys got to see them but too bad you missed it.
