Baby Cards

I got the idea to make this card from Stacy's blog.
I love all of her designs and I cased this almost exactly. The theme and colors are different as is the orientation of the card. I love the way it turned out and I don't even know anybody having a baby! LOL!
I'll just add it to my stash. I'm sure it will come in handy one of these days.

Blog Update

Been trying to update my blog background off and on for a couple of weeks now. I even went so far as to remove that feature and it still shows snowflakes. I'm hoping the problem will correct itself one of these days. Haven't had too much time to stamp lately, but I managed to get a couple cards done today. One is a layout right out of the Stampin' Up catty and the other is from my own imagination. I love the new papers out for spring. Such great colors and patterns.

Valentines Day

I finally got to use one of my new Unity stamps I got from the scrapbook expo last month. It felt good to put ink to paper and I love the way this one turned out. Awesome color palate for the holidays I think. As stampers I think we are always trying to do something other than red and green for our Holiday cards. I'm sure I'll end up with a few that follow the traditional colors of Christmas since I have so many cards to make this year, but I'm off to a great start! I wanted to get one last Halloween post in before Thanksgiving. Ha Ha! We've been so busy lately and had a lot going on so this one is short and sweet. All images are from TAC. I did manage a short trip to the Sacramento Scrapbook Expo this past weekend and came home with some little treasures from Unity. It was so nice to see a stamp vendor at the show. I thought it was about time for a season appropriate post. I have a friend who has been a Stampin' Up demonstrator for a very long time and I got this little treasure out of her "I don't use any more" stash. I'm sure this set has been retired for a long time but isn't it cute? I'm happy with the way it turned out too.

It's felt like fall the last few days with all the rain we've had, but the weatherman says we're headed back to the low 80's soon. Rats! I do my best crafting when it's dark and dreary outside.

Seemed like a good idea at the time! I love this stamp set and it's kind of a bummer The Angel Company is no longer in business. They had so many cute sets like this. I'm glad a rubber stamp never wears out! I'm sure I'll use this little guy for years to come.

Yes folks it's that time of year again to start working on your holiday cards. And even though I don't think of Halloween as a holiday, it does seems like the kick off to start the ball rolling. Next Thanksgiving, then Christmas.

I'm still playing with my silhouette set and have one more I'm working with. Can't get it quite right, so I decided to take a break from that and go with something more non-traditional. I wish I had bigger nesties. The width is standard (i.e. A2) but the length isn't and that bugs me. Luckily I'll get over it because this card turned out great.

When I was 6 my Aunt and Uncle took us to Disneyland. One of the things I remember was having someone do a silhouette cut out of my head. I remember being amazed at how they could just cut out my profile without drawing it first. After they cut it out they glued it to a sheet of white paper and handed it to me. I have no idea where that little souvenir went, but when I saw this stamp set from Hero Arts I knew I had to have it. What a great memory. I wonder if Disneyland still does that?

Back in the saddle again

Hi!!

Well it's been since April since I've put ink to paper. What a crazy few months it's been. I hope you all had a wonderful summer. The kids went back to school last week and I'm starting to feel my since of routine again. Boy I love a routine and that was one thing summer was lacking. You just never know what life is going to hurl at you! The good news is, I'm starting to stamp again. I still feel a little rusty (ok, A LOT rusty) but as fall approaches I just know the inspiration will start to pour in. So, for today here's a new card for you to look at. I used some watercolor crayons and paper. This is new for me and you should see my reject sheet. LOL! Thanks for looking and hanging in there with me during my stamping hiatus!

I have no cards to share since I haven't stamped in I don't know how long, but I do have a picture of my dogs new friend. We don't know her name so we just call her Horsey. I'm scared to death of horses, but this one I adore. She is the sweetest, friendliest horse I've ever met. She whinnies if we're outside so we go to the fence and pet her. Some day we'll learn her name or maybe Digger will let us in on their secrets!

Been dealing with lots of personal stuff lately, but hope to stamp again soon. Please don't give up on me :)

Mom and Dad's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday, and Father's Day is just a month away. Can you believe it's nearly summer? Five more weeks of school and the kiddos will be on summer break. Seems like I just packed up the Christmas decorations. Where does the time go?

I hope all you Mom's out there have a great day celebrating with your children. I'm looking forward to breakfast in bed with a huge bowl of Cheerios swimming in milk, semi toasted english muffins and a slab of rock hard butter sitting on top again this year!

Happy Monday. Here's my latest creation for Mom's Day cards. I haven't really been in the mood to color so this is more about the felt flowers. Today I learned that you can use a hole punch on felt. I never knew this before and wasn't sure if it was going to shred the felt or get suck in the punch. It work beautifully! When I add ribbon to flowers like this I would much rather tie it through the flower rather than glue it on. That way I know it wont come off, and I feel like I can get a better looking knot that way. I'm still a little unsure about the placement of the leaves, but it's too late now. Everything is already glued down.

I couldn't figure out what to title this post so, I went with the obvious. Card. After all, that's what it is. LOL! It took me a couple of days and some assistance from my sister to get this right. She thought it should have been oriented the other way, but I liked it this way. This is a cute TAC set, but I cannot remember the name of it. (if you know, feel free to post a comment) After I colored the image there was too much white space that I wasn't sure what to do with so, I used my puffer thingy that you put a marker in. It forces air through the marker and you get those little colored speckles. I must be getting old because I can't remember the official name of the puffer thingy either! Anyway, thanks for looking today and I hope you all had a great weekend.

Happy Friday everyone! Today I get to pick my son up from a week at Science Camp and I'm so excited to have him home. I got to see him last night and he looked so exhausted! Most things he enjoyed some, not-so-much. I know this has nothing to do with the card I've posted. I just wanted to share.

I made this card a while ago and was going to submit it for a TAC contest. Now that I've looked at it again, it's not contest worthy. Isn't it funny how you make a card sometimes and think it's spectacular then when you look at it again, it's not that great? I have lots of cards like that.

I started this card earlier in the week, and just now finished. I love this little bear. I Copic'd him on craft card stock and he was a little too dark, so I went over him with the blender pen and it worked beautifully. The card is much nicer in person. It's a dark and dreary day, so the lighting isn't great, but you get the idea.

I haven't posted since National Pancake Day, so I thought it was about time I updated my blog. I've been eyeballing this wood mounted stamp set at Michaels for a year and never got it. I guess I didn't like it enough until I saw it at JoAnn's in the dollar bin. SCORE!

I've been stamping here and there in my "spare time." Now that I'm filling in the management void at work again there is not enough hours in the day for the things I enjoy. UGH! My bad right? I need to practice "Just say NO" when they ask me again, and again, and again.

I bet you didn't know it was national pancake day did you? ihop here I come! I bet you didn't know it was time to start working on those Easter cards either. I wasn't really in Easter mode until the hotel where I sell my cards requested some. So today I'm dreaming of pancakes and making Easter cards. How 'bout those Packers!! What a great game. Did you see the Darth Vader commercial? If you didn't you really need to Google it. It was the best one.

These are the two cards I made yesterday before the game started. Once the game started I just couldn't focus on stamping. It must be the competitive side of me that enjoys football so much. Anyway, it was a really fun weekend and I hope yours was just as fun. Thanks for looking!

Doesn't this frog look like he's lost in thought? Speaking of lost, I know many of you watched this series when it was on TV. I never did. I thought it would be too creepy for me. Boy was I wrong. Since we have Netflix we were able to put the entire series in our instant watch que. We are all addicted now and have managed to watch the first season in about 4 days. We just started the second season last night, and I can't wait to see what happens next. If you haven't seen this show and need something to do on a winter stay at home day, I recommend this series. Pick a side

Since none of my teams (Colts, Giants, Vikings) made it to the play offs this year, my husband said I have to pick a team to win the Super Bowl. I decided to go with the Packers (to be read with a Sarah Palin accent). Even though I like the Steeler's, I'm going with Aaron Rodgers to lead Green Bay to a win. Ben (yes, we are on a first name basis) has already won two Super Bowls and holds the record for being the youngest quarterback in history to win a Super Bowl. So, I'd like to see the 27 year old Chico, CA native win this one (besides he has pretty eyes). That's not really the reason I just want to see if my husband is reading this. I think it will be a tough battle as the Steelers are a more seasoned team and Roethlisberger is the biggest quarterback in the NFL which makes him harder to sack. Then there's the whole passing team vs. a running team and a bunch of other stuff I'm still learning (if you read my previous post, you know I'm a slow learner). We'll see what happens on the 6th, but my pick is the Green Bay Packers!

How Did I Miss This One?

My friend Stacy, (whose blog I visit often) always has such beautiful and perfectly aligned cards. Last week I asked her what her secret was. She told me she uses a Stampamajig and linked me to a utube video. Now I've seen this tool before and it's been around for years, but I always thought it was way too complicated to use. Then I watched the video. Can I just tell you I felt SO silly when I saw how easy it was to use? So I trotted over to Michael's with a half of coupon and got myself a Stampamajig. Holy cow this thing is awesome. How did I miss this one? I've been "eyeballing" it all these years! And to top it off, she isn't the first person to tell me about this tool. I know, you're all thinking "DUH!" But what can I say, I'm a slow learner! Anyway, I've been playing with this tool all day today and this is the best of the bunch, so I thought I'd share. I hope you all had a great weekend. Most of my time was spent watching football. Both my teams lost on Saturday, but at least the Packers beat the Eagles on Sunday. Who knew over the last few years I would become a football fan? I still don't understand some of the game rules, but I'm getting there. Any predictions on who will make it to the super bowl?

I'm slowly but surely getting some Valentines Day cards made. The From the Heart set from The Angle Company is perfect for this occasion and I'm having so much fun coloring these little girls. I've been trying to use up some of my scraps so this one is pieced together with what I have left of this My Minds Eye paper.

I intended to post this earlier today, but my camera batteries were dead. Took too many Christmas photos that I'll scrapbook someday. Anyhow, so much for a slow work week. Got called in for tomorrow 'cause everybody is sick...OH goody now I can be around all the lingering germs. No matter. I can use the extra change to save up for my new laptop. If my calculations are correct I only have to work another 6 or 8 months and not spend a dime of my paycheck and I'll have enough money. OR I can sell six thousand dollars in TAC products.

I wanted you to have a fun Valentines Day card to look at until I can stamp again. You know, with work and all. I know you miss me terribly when I can't post. ;-)

And Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. It's hard to believe it's 2011 already. The holidays go by way too fast for me and the years seem to be flying by even faster.

I've had some computer issues lately which is why you haven't seen anything new in a while. My hard drive has been struggling for a while now and it finally went kaput! In my faithful MAC's defense, it is 10 years old, so I can't complain too much. Lucky for me I married an IT guy with spare parts! Now I have a new old hard drive and a working computer. I really need a new MAC with a fast processor. Maybe one of these days.

Here's a little Valentines Day card to get you thinking about the next card making occassion. So far this is the only one I've had time to do. The kids go back to school tomorrow and my work schedule is slow, so there's more to come.

Can I just say my in-laws are the best! Every year we look forward to getting this box of goodies all the way from Minnesota. There are 3 bags of the best homemade caramel corn you will ever taste, one box of individually pressed and cooked meticulously hand crafted Belgium cookies, a container of yummy bars, a huge bag of monster cookies, and the cutest Christmas card I have ever received. How lucky are we?! I have to ration and hide the Belgium cookies or my husband will have them all eaten within 3 days. ( Hi Honey! hope you're not reading this. If you are I have a new hiding spot this year) The monster cookies (my son's favorite) get put in the freezer to be eaten one at a time every day after school until they are gone. If I stash the yummy bars in the back of fridge they last longer ;) And the caramel corn, well that's a free for all. These things are all so special to us because they are all hand made with love and only come once a year. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!! You guys are the best!!

Holiday Wishes

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm still pluggin' away at Christmas cards on my days off. It's helped a lot to have pre-colored a bunch of images over the last several weeks. It's all about the layouts now.

This little tree is from a TAC set called Santa Claus is Coming. The whole set reminds me of those chunky Fisher Price figurines that come with the school bus or airplane. I tried to make the ornaments look like traditional Christmas balls. Or is it bulbs? Anyway, I used a bit of crystal lacquer and it worked out pretty well. I have a few more tress I did in different colors so I have a few more images to play with. And who doesn't love a good ornament shaped nestie!

Dog gone cute!

Here's another layout with that same Christmas dog. I think he is so dog gone cute! I have to say I'm kinda lovin' how much I've done for Christmas so far. The tree is up and mostly decorated, I've made a dent in my shopping and even finished a batch of Chex Mix. Though I may have done that a little too soon. I think it will all be eaten before the festivities begin. I only make it during this time of year and I like to give some away to the mail man and paperboy. I still need to make some beer bread for the black Friday pot luck at work and finish my shopping for the out of state-ers so I can get that box shipped out. I even wrapped some gifts this morning! Yeah for me. Now that's progress! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and have much to be thankful for. I know I do!

I'm managing to make due with the broken Cuttlebug plate today. I colored a few of the trees a few weeks ago and knew I wanted to use them for some of my Christmas cards. Now I wish I had done a few more. I try not to do all the same cards, but I really like the way these turned out. That little nesty there in the back of the tree really makes it look complete. I can't believe how quickly the Holidays are approaching, and how far behind I am on my Christmas cards. I was on a roll this morning until my Cuttlebug C plate snapped in half! UGH! Much to my surprise I could not buy one at Michaels or Joann. Grrr. So I came home and ordered one online. Thank goodness for online shopping. I hate to pay shipping, but what else can you do? I'm so lost without my Cuttlebug. So, for the next 7 to 10 days I'll have to use the broken pieces.

This little cutie was put together with My Minds Eye paper Angi gave me (Angi you're the BEST!) and the layout I got from PattiJ's blog. The image is one I picked up at the Scrapbook expo a couple of weeks ago. Isn't he cute?

When my son was little he had a hard time pronouncing his F's. We have him on video tape singing Rudoss the Red Nosed Reindeer in the tub. We still call him Rudoss. Another quickie today. Between school activities, work, car troubles, and life in general I've had very little time to stamp. Just like every year I get a head start then life happens and all of a sudden I'm behind. I was able to color a few Christmas images over the last couple of weeks, now I just have to put the cards together. I really love this time of the year and I'm going to try and slow down enough to enjoy it. I say that every year. We'll see if I actually do it.

Here's another little cutie from the Cuddly Christmas set. Boy do I love this set! I've colored a bunch of images and am just starting to put some layouts together.

If you like to Copic and you like cute this is a must have set. Also, the October SOTM is another little jewel you just might want to add to your collection. Remember, just because these are "labeled" Christmas sets, you can use them for other seasons, or reasons, or whatever you'd like!

I thought I'd post something new while my internet connection is working. You know these things only break when your techno geek husband is unavailable. This little guy is part of an adorable set from TAC called Cuddly Christmas which is in the new Fall Supplement. It took me a couple of tries to get the coloring the way I wanted and then I messed with the layout for a couple of days. I think it turned out OK. So I Googled when the next issue of the Holiday Cards magazine would be out. (on news stands 9/14 btw) That led me to the Paper Crafts connections blog. There I saw a really nice card that inspired me to make this Christmas card. I used the Sizzix holly embossing folder and chalked the leaves and berries. Then I used my handy dandy holly die cut and decided it needed some texture. Can you guess which embossing folder I used for the leaves? Excuse me while I pat myself on the back for this one. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but I did think of it all on my own. Hopefully this will kick-start my Christmas mojo!

I'm not really feelin' the stamping love lately. I was in the mood to stamp and this was the best I could do. It's not even a very good picture, but I figured my blog needed an update. I think I have a pretty good stash of Halloween cards and I need to move on to Christmas, but I'm inspiration-less lately. What I need is a new magazine. I'm patiently waiting for the Holiday Cards mag to come out. That always jump starts my stamping juices.

Here's another fabulous image from TAC's Just Ducky set. Sometimes I just can't handle the cuteness of it all! The paper is from DCWV's Nana's Kitchen. If I was going to re-do this card I would have removed the yellow piece and just stamp the sentiment in it's place.

When I started these over the weekend I intended for them to be Christmas list holders. I went to Michaels and got a couple of those dollar list pads and some recipe cards. Unfortunately neither of them work. I guess since the clipboards are 6X9 they are a bit too small. I haven't given up yet, but if anybody has any suggestions on what I can use for a list pad I'd love to hear from you. I'm also not that thrilled with the ribbon at the top, but it needed something, so if you have any thoughts on that please feel free to share. So a little birdie told me they liked the layout of my owl card (see below) but not the image. What!? I love those little owls. Anyway, it got me thinking about beauty being in the eye of the beholder. You know, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I could go on, but you get it. I guess I shouldn't expect for you to comment on all my cards. Right? We all have different tastes and that's what makes the world interesting. I've been a stampin' fool the last few days and it feels great! I figure since I have to work tomorrow I'd make the most of today and stamp as much as I can. And even though it's a hundred million degrees out lately I can still feel fall coming. I really enjoy being creative in the fall and I've even had Christmas cards on my mind. So we shall see what today brings.

I know, two back to back posts. This will make up for my lack of updates later on in the week since I have to work. I wanted to show you guys this little witch card because I think I'm closer to achieving that tulle look. I don't know if you can see it, but I used one of those clear jelly roll glitter pens on her skirt and her hat.I just dotted it all over and sort of blended it with my finger before it dried. You have to be fast because it dries fast, but I like the way it turned out. If any of you have any tricks to share about the tulle look feel free to share. :)

I love fall. I love that the kids are back to school! I love my routine during the school year and I love Halloween! I was going to submit the little frankenboy cartd to TAC for catalog consideration, but I was too late in getting it sent. That's ok, I can always sell/donate my cards. The little frankengirl is from a set called Spooky Girls that is in the Serendipity supplement from last fall. I just got the set and am loving all the cute images in it. How do I not have a just bee-cause stamp? This really wasn't supposed to be a Halloween card, but I didn't have the sentiment that I really wanted to put on it. It is beyond me how I don't have a stamp that says just bee-cause. Or bee anything thing for that matter. Oh well. She still turned out great and I love her little flower barrettes! When I was on my friend Angi's blog I saw one of her cutest cards ever. I loved what she did with the spiderweb embossing folder, so I decided to case it. I'm not all that impressed with my layout or my choice of color combo, but I love the way my witch turned out, and was in a big ole hurry to finish the card. The more I use Copic's on my cards the more I see the value in having all the colors. Since that's not possible I made due with what I have, and I have to say I really, really like the end result of my little witch!

Just Clowning Around

I knew when I saw this stamp set in the catalog I had to have it. It's from a new set called Delightfully Spooky. It has the cutest Halloween stamps in it, but this particular image was just screaming to be used as a Birthday clown. This is my first pass at the ideas I have in my head. I tried to make the neck piece look like tulle. I went back at the last minute and added the extra colored polka dots. Not sure if it's really what I was going for, but it works for this card. I was going to use some red flock on the wig, but I think that will be my next go round with this image.

Since I haven't posted in a while I thought I'd share a little goody I made a couple of weeks ago. This little guy is from a retired TAC set called Wild West. I think he is the cutest! I used a regular ole brad covered with crystal lacquer and glitter for the star. I used my Kohinoor pencils and oms to color him. Today my plan is to stamp, stamp, stamp! After working the last six days in a row, I'm behind on everything. So, my plan for today? Stamp of course. Who needs clean clothes right?

After seeing all the uses for Martha Stewart's punches on HSN last week it's all I can think about. I'm putting the few I have to good use. And I have this new love for a TAC set I've had for a couple of years now called Aged Ornaments. It's still in the catalog which makes me very happy! Seems like the sets I like the most always get retired. I think I'm just now learning how to use this set and maybe that's why. I don't know, I just know I love the set and am trying to think of lots of ways to use it.

Paper Bag Special

Here's the project I submitted for a TAC contest. I finally found the photos on my computer. They aren't very good quality, but you get the idea. This is a really easy project. It's basically just a paper lunch sack folded in half. It was really fun to put together especially since I don't do these kind of projects very often. I really am a card maker at heart. The truth is, I'm really bummed it didn't win. I've submitted before, but so far have yet to win. My biggest bummer is that you don't get your project back once you send it to them. I'm not sure where they end up and can't imagine anybody but me wants a photo of my son and our trip the the Winchester Mystery house. Anyway, you should give this little project a try. I did one a few years ago for my sons second grade teacher and slipped a gift card inside instead of a journaling tag. It turned out great!

I just kept adding elements until I was happy with the outcome. All the paper is from the DCWV linen stack. I love the soft colors in this stack. And all the stamps are from TAC.

Here's a little goody I put together from a layout in one of my magazines. If you pull the little tab there is a message inside. It's not really a set because the paper doesn't match, but I had a little scrap of that cherry paper left so I decided to use it on one of those giant wooden paper clips from Michael's to make a photo holder. Don't you just love Basic Grey paper? It's all so pretty and hard to come by where I live, so I use it very sparingly. I copied this layout from a square card my sister made. I think she said it was one of Mojo Monday's sketches. I love their sketch's! Not very 4th of July looking, but I'm not feeling the stampin' love lately. Days filled with good things

Boy have things been insanely busy around here lately. Today is the last day of school and I have been busier the last several weeks than I think I've been all year! So much so that I committed a mortal sin yesterday...I had to BUY a card. I know, I know, but sometimes we all slip off the wagon. It killed me to do it, but I waited until the last minute (SO unlike me) to get a teacher card for my sons teacher who also happens to be retiring this year. (and let's not get started on the last minute surprise party the kids wanted to throw him TODAY! If I had a dime for every phone call I got about this last night, I'd be rich!)

I really do enjoy the routine of the school year. Summer is always so up in the air. I'm a planner and a list maker so summer is always a bit of a challenge for me, but I know there will be several days filled with good things!

Good Monday morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I was lucky enough to get breakfast in bed! Who doesn't love a bowl of chocolate cheerios swimming in milk, two semi toasted english muffins and a glass of water! My son is the best!

I've been in this felt flower craze ever since my friend Angi told me to use wool felt to die cut my flowers. It works like a charm! Thanks Angi! Now I just need to get better flower dies!

AWE isn't he cute? This is what I have to contend with whenever I'm in the craft room and Daddy isn't home. I was thinking, " he can't possibly be comfortable," right up until he stared to snore! So I grabbed the camera and snapped this shot. He is ALWAYS under foot. I've tripped over him, rolled over him in my chair and watched him use my paper packs as pillows. What ever would I do if I didn't have a 90lb lab to step over??

Any Hero Cards

As part of my ongoing quest to finish cards for the Operation Write Home make someone's day challenge, I came up with these two cards to include. They are called any hero cards and are to be given to any deployed soldier just to let them know we are thinking about them. I just love the way they turned out. I got the idea to do the camouflage card from this blog. This is such a great layout and I've made several cards using it. 15 cards down, 10 more to go!

...I spent entirely too much time on this card today. I knew I wanted to use the pp and this stamp set together, but it just didn't quite work out as spectacularly as I'd hoped. I think at the end I just sort of did what I did to be done and move on. Ever have cards like that? I do really love the color combo I'm just not that thrilled with the layout. Oh well. Time to move on.

Today is the last day of spring break and the weather is gloomy, rainy, windy...perfect for stamping! I do my best work when the weather is like this. In between working on Mom's day cards I've been trying to put some cards together for Operation Write Home. They only have a few restrictions on what you can send, but the big one is no glitter. I never realized how much I used glitter until I started making cards for them. I had a bunch ready to go and then I realized just about everyone of them had glitter in some form or another. Drat! So I've gone back to the drawing board and am working on a fresh batch of glitter free cards. Last night I colored a few images with my Copic markers. I still have a long way to go to really learn how to use these markers, but I'm getting there. I can see the value in having all of the Copic colors now too. It's so much easier to shade etc...when you have every color in a particular color family. Anyway, I put these little cuties together this morning and thought I'd share.

I knew when I saw this stamp I had to have it. It so reminds me of when my son was very young and we discovered glycerin bubbles at the Gymboree store. I thought they were the coolest bubbles ever because they don't pop so easily. We tried to catch them on our tongues every time we blew bubbles. Ah...the good ole days!

What a crazy couple of months it's been! I've have very little time to stamp, and have been busy with so many other things. It's ok though. My son took me to the Mother Son dance on Friday night and it was so much fun. Prior to that we had an art and science fair at school and were busy with lots and lots of projects for that and other class goings on. Yikes! Where does the time go? I'm already thinking about spring break and before you know it the kids will be on summer vacation. After that...there's JR HIGH!!! AK! (yeah, that's me screaming) How did this happen?? Just yesterday we were starting kindergarten. Ok, moving on before I burst into tears...

Here's a nice little springy type card. I love this Basic Grey paper and the butterfly punch from SU! This was also my duh moment card. I sanded the heck out of the pink paper trying to make the dry embossed area white. Well, no matter how much you sand paper, if it's doesn't have a white core it will never turn white. DUH!
