Birthday Ballerina's

Happy Friday Everyone!

The weather has been so hot here in No. Cal. I thought I'd take some outdoor pictures. Aren't these girls cute?

We have been in the low 100's the last week and have even spent time in the pool. And it's only May!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and thanks for looking!!

Sketch Challenge

Today is Thursday (not really, it's Wednesday night but I have to work tomorrow) so that means it's time for another challenge over at The Digi Shack.

This was kind of tough for me. I don't usually do layouts like this but I think it worked out ok. Not my best work but I sure do love these flowers.

If you'd like to play along, click on over to The Digi Shack and show us what you can do!

Snail Mail

This weeks color challenge over at The Digi Shack is black, bashful blue, taken with teal, and gray. I decided to use the snail because I still like to get fun mail in my mailbox. With technology being what it is, we can communicate back and forth in the blink of an eye (and sometimes that's not fast enough) but who doesn't love to get a hand made card the old fashion way!

Hope you all are having a fantastic day and thanks for looking!

Flower Bunch

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Here's another Digi Shack image for your viewing pleasure. I decided less is more with this one. I think a simple layout works so the image is the main focal point. I tried to add ribbon and b/g paper etc... and it was just too much. Besides these flowers are pretty enough to stand alone.

Hope you are all having a great day and thanks for looking!

Elzybells Challenge 20

I've been spending a fair amount of time on Elzybells blog lately and thought I'd try my hand at one of their challenges. The challenge is to make a card with more than one fold. This is my little tri-fold.

If you haven't checked out their site lately, you really should. She has a great tutorial on coloring with Koh-I-Noor pencils and OMS. (One of these days I'm going to master coloring!) They also have some of the cutest images and cards samples.

Thanks for looking and have a marvelous weekend!

Digi Shack Sketch Challenge 5

Today is sketch challenge day over at The Digi Shack. Isn't this little guy cute? My coloring doesn't do him justice. I'm still learning how to use my Koh-I-Noor pencils and OMS. I love the color combo but REALLY need some practice when it comes to this coloring medium.

There are some SUPER talented ladies in our design team so click on my side bar or fly on over to the Digi Shack and see what these ladies have done!

Happy Dad's Day

Since I wasn't able to post any Mom's day cards I thought I'd get a jump on the Dad's day cards. I made this with one of The Digi Shacks super cool images. You should check out their site. They have some really fun images just right for Father's Day.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Color Challenge Thursday

That's right. Today is Thursday and that means it's color challenge day over at The Digi Shack!

This weeks colors are brown, navy, craft, and white or cream. Here's what I did for the challenge. I've also added a bonus card with the same violin image just so you can see a couple of different possibilities with this beautiful violin.

Don't forget about all the fun happenings over at the shack too. If you haven't seen Lani you really need to go check her out. She is just B E A U T I F U L! You can also see what else the design team has done with this weeks color challenge. What a talented group of ladies!
